GP Business Consulting co-organizes the 4th edition of the Ghana Energy Awards
The 4th Edition of the Ghana Energy Awards was held on the 30th October 2020 at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra on the theme “Excelling in Crisis: The Energy Sector in a COVID-19 Era”.
The Ghana Energy Awards (GEA) aims to honor deserving individuals and institutions in Ghana’s Energy Sector. The event was organized by the Energy Media Group, in collaboration with GP Business Consulting.
Nominations for GEA’ 2020 was opened on 28th July 2020 to 30th September 2020 and top nominees were shortlisted by the judging panel. GEA announced the shortlisted nominees on 12th October 2020 on the Ghana Energy Awards website, in the press release and on all its social media platforms. This year’s GEA honoured 9 outstanding individuals and 15 companies on the awards night. The Guest of Honor for this year’s event was Hon. John-Peter Amewu, Minister of Energy and also gracing it were distinguished individuals such as Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, Akwamumanhene of Akwamu Traditional Area – Chairman of the event, Mr. Kim Sungsoo, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ghana, Hagen Maroney, the Economic Counselor of the US Embassy, and representatives from the German Embassy and KFW.
